Words cannot adequately express the gratitude we feel as a family for the treatment and care received by XXXX whilst under your care.

You are an exceptional surgeon who performed a high-risk operation on a high-risk patient, others would have baulked at.  You personally spent time to allay our concerns and explain the procedure every step of the way, not always easy when faced with highly charged and emotional relatives!  The team, without exception, are also worthy of praise.

We fully understand XXXX still has a long road ahead, but you have given him a fighting chance which is all we could have asked.   What a star and what a team!
